WE SAVED HER LIFE!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!

This was one of the most unbelievable days fishing I’ve ever had. WE seriously saved her life by catching her choking on a giant carp on Lake Kissimmee! I was out with FLW Pro Tyler Woolcott and he snagged a fish with a trap fishing lure and it turned out she was choking on a fish she tried to eat. We saved her life by pulling the carp out of her mouth…serioulsy! I’ve only seen this twice before in all my fishing and each time the fish was choking on bream. I’ve never seen a fish eat something so big and seriously be on it’s way to other world. It’s suck a cool thing too, this fish was giant – all of 8-9lbs and without us catching her the way we did she would have never survived. I have spent a lot of time on the lake but I still run into some crazy things out on the water and this one was epic. Any time you can see a fish that big and play a role in saving her life is a good day on the lake, I can’t wait to see what our next adventure will bring

There are a lot of fishing techniques you can use to catch fish behind other bass boats fishing a lake – and this one they hate me for!!!! In this video we catch some bass and get in depth into how to longline for bass using smaller crankbaits on light fishing line to trigger reaction strikes. I love this kind of fishing – but I’m sure I’ll get some hate for it being trolling. It’s a super efficient winter tactic in Florida for combatting googans and continuing to catch fish on highly pressured lakes.

My CONFIDENCE FISHING RIG for BASS!!!

We all have rigs and fishing lures that we believe in and and always have tied up. My confidence fishing rig shows off in this video – the Mag Ned Rig and the Neko Rig are standards whenever I get on the lake. I have caught a lot of big fish as well as numbers of bass fishing these rigs and that really leads me to having the confidence that I can get a bite on them on any body of water – lake, ultra clear water, river – even outside Florida. The are both especially good fishing techniques for winter fishing down here in Florida when pre spawn bass feed to move up to spawn.

Not to mention that before even walking in to the shop we met a guy that makes a crazy fishing scent and he threw Benjamin and I some swag to take smallie fishing. NEW Bass Boat Maiden Voyage ~ It’ Finally REAL & Epic Bass Underwater

I finally picked up my new bass boat and I can’t wait to get it fishing! We had the maiden voyage and got to see underwater bass on our trip to pick up the boat in North Central Florida. It’s all getting real! We passed through Silver Springs to pick it up and got some see some epic fish underwater on glass bottomed boats! So the new boat is home and the next step is to get her rigged out to be a fishing machine! Stay tuned! You won’t see her in the vids right away but I’ll keep you updated as the process unfolds and no doubt we’ll be shooting a boat walk thru vid once she’s all ready for the water! Shiner Fishing for Bass a.k.a. Desperate

Fishing for bass is a challenge, even aggressive peacock bass. We decided to bust out a traditional fishing technique I haven’t used in ages, using live bait. In this case we grabbed some shiners from a local tackle store and went out to sight fish for spawning bass on South Florida canal system that holds a range of species from snook and tarpon all the way to peacock and largemouth bass. It was sort of an adventure since neither me nor my best friend has ever tried live bait rigs for this kind of bass fishing – we were total novices but made it work to hook up with some nice fish and some ball busting in between.

Weather: partly to mostly cloudy, highs in the low 90’s becoming sunny and breezy later in the day (that’s when the bite seemed to improve too)
