In this video, we put the Texas rig worm to the ultimate test with some exciting and unique alternatives. Join us on Lake Guntersville as we try out a super popular tournament bait discussed by Alton Jones Jr. to see if it truly catches more fish. We’ll also be testing the innovative Geecrack Bellows Gill and Raid Hira Tailor—two extremely unique Japanese soft plastic lures. Will these new baits outperform the traditional Texas rig worm in catching bass? Watch to find out!

Dude that Raid looks KILLER. I’m watching the vid right now – this is crazy timing because I just pulled out a white 2.75″ bait (different brand I won’t name drop on your post, but clearly a copy) to rig on a light Texas Rig and skip it up shallow in a river that has been giving up some quality smallmouth bass for me lately in the ridiculous heat. Looking forward to seeing what you catch!
