I can honestly say the first 5 casts with my fishing rod this morning cost me $3000. I made a horrible mistake out fishing the lake after I caught a bass on a jig, I nearly broke down in tears. I guess this is why I should go bank fishing!!!! We try to run through some less talked about patterns for fall fishing and fall bass location as well as what fishing lures and soft plastic worms and baits are the best for catching more fish this time of year.
Are you sick of your basic fishing lures and tackle costing way too much? I figured out the cheapest way to go jig fishing with high quality super customized jigs and it’s an easy DIY Mod from Tackle Warehouse. Pick your jigs, head style, weight, then get the skirt making kit we talked about in a prior video and make your own custom skirts – no one else will have the same jig as you and you’ll be amazed how much more confidence you fish your jig with.
We also do an unboxing of new Tackle Warehouse baits I picked up for late summer and fall frog fishing and grass fishing out on the lake. I’m excited to learn more about jigs going into fall fishing – it’s the perfect time to try out this technique as well as have a shot at catching some big bass on them.

I’ve NEVER been to this clear water lake ever!!! Google Maps found it! So the challenge is to find fish now break down every part of the lake and go through the process I use when I’m fishing a new body of water for the very first time!!! For me it all starts with technology like using Google Maps or Google Earth to find lakes near me and analyze how clear the water is, what the layout of the lake is, does it have a boat ramp? Then we use technology like our C Map and Lowrance sonar to scan and understand the bottom if it’s slime or sand and look for bass. We explore the whole process of finding a lake as well as figuring out and and catching bass in a variety of scenarios!!

Now that we’re back in Florida we took an adventure to the Gambler Lures warehouse and broke in to steal some fishing lures and finally caught up with Val and asked him some questions about where the swimbait design came from and what got him in to fishing and Gambler Lures in the first place.
Now that we’re in Florida we’ll be shooting a bunch of vids on Lake Okeechobee, Lake Kissimee, maybe Stick Marsh and all the deep water fisheries. Winter is the best time of year to fish Florida because bass are staging up to spawn and eating a ton!!!! Not to mention winter temps in the mid 70’s. If we get a warm spell we may even be able to do some sight fishing!!!!
Interested in the baits we showed off when we broke in to the warehouse? Find them at Tackle Warehouse!!!!
Summer storms can be insane out on the lake bass fishing in Florida – and the worst part is they can come out of nowhere when the water has been flat with now wind all day! So be safe this time of year and watch the radar and keep an eye on the skies!
Another summer bass fishing vid and we focus on what lures and techniques to use when dealing with high sun and flat water. A couple semi finesse fishing tips that trigger bass to bite no matter how tough the conditions. We hang out with my friend Brent for a second time and end up with a pretty strong day catching a solid bag before the INSANE storm rolls in.
Top 3 fishing lures for flat water fishing in summer: Neko Rig, Mag Ned Rig, and a Drop Shot Rig. Want to grab the fishing lures, gear and terminal tackle to set them up?
My first ever Michigan smallmouth fishing ULTRA CLEAR natural lakes on my fishing road trip to the north!!! Big thanks to YouTuber Benjamin Nowak for making this happen – it was a grind but that’s what makes fishing for bass such a passionate and emotional sport! Keys for the day were fishing hard baits rip baits however my first ever ULTRA CLEAR lake bass was caught on a Ned Rig right at the end of the day. It’s finally spring in Michigan and these fish are a pre spawn and staging to spawn mode.
Stay tuned for some advanced Lipless Crankbait tips from YouTuber Bass Quest and then day 2 of the #SeekingBronze tour which will turn out INSANE!
So the trolling motor on the boat broke the other day and I’ve got the itch to go fishing….but I have no boat. Time to go back to my roots and tap into the awesome bank fishing available in South Florida. You can catch peacocks, bass, snook, all kinds of fish down here. So I decided to hit up a public park that has a pond and see what I could put together on Mother’s Day. Threw the girl, the baits, the bikes and some fishing rods in the truck and took a hike to hunt for bass.

Conditions – early summer temps in the 80’s wind strong from the west, partly cloudy.
This is the first real brushpile I found deeper than 10′ when I started focusing offshore this past May. Was struggling on Okeechobee and other shallow lakes and needed a change of pace and a look at something new. Decided to focus on offshore fishing in some of the medium sized natural lakes in central FL. After having a day like this and seeing what my graph looked like when I found the pile, I was pretty much hooked. Really dig the “high risk, high reward” style fishing. You go out, look, look, and look some more having faith that at some point you’ll find the mother load and catch them in 30 minutes. It’s a whole different style of “grind”.
