This is an insane camera array for bass fishing and it’s going to give crazy angles in a simple setup. Yolotek POWERStick, POWERStation, and DBarrel all set up with a GoPro camera. This gives me a mobile platform to get angles on fishing all over the boat no holds barred. Perfect for fishing trips and telling you what’s happening fishing for bass here in Florida and all over. The new Bass Boat is getting some final touches and I made the best decision yet mounting Transducer Shield brackets for my trolling motor and transom Lowrance transducers. There’s also a bonus install of the Grass Deflector and Grass Shredder. We walk through how to install the Transducer Shield accessories I purchased for the new bass boat. Just trying to make this thing as perfect as I can possibly afford and these graph brackets are the best mounts available for my transducer mounts.
Crush some late spawning bass with this pattern fishing Lake Okeechobee or just about anywhere. We run thru a day of fishing for bass on the Big O targeting late spawning fish with a crazy jig and stick bait rig as well as a chatterbait in super shallow water. These are some fishing tips and techniques you can use fishing in spring for bass staging and spawning in and around shallow heavy cover. And we got to do a subscriber meetup with James who is fishing a high school fishing tournament on Lake Okeechobee!

Took an awesome SUBSCRIBER out fishing for bass and we crushed it. Caught my 2nd biggest PB fish EVER! The crazy part is how I caught her – I seem to have a reputation for catching giant fish on accicdent, you have to see it to believe it!
A little about the SUBSCRIBER: Brent is a family man from the west coast of Florida and Tampa Bay Lightning fan (double thumbs up there!!!!). Wanted to learn some fishing tips and techniques for searching for bass and catching them outside your traditional Florida fishing patterns…..and maybe bet a shot at a PB bass! He got super close to breaking his PB in this vid but you’ll have to tune in for part 2 to see if we shatter his PB with a giant Florida largemouth!
Fishing for bass I was thinking about bass lures and the Ned Rig. I had fun learning how to fish a Ned Rig and wanted to stick with the same finesse principles but go mag style like usual. What I came up with is a blend of a slightly heavier Ned Rig jig head paired up with a magnum ned style worm – super fat and a little bit longer. After this vid I put the rig and fishing technique to work and unlike most of my other fishing lure experiments it worked flawlessly and we caught a couple 6+ pound fish. Once again the best approach was to basically dead stick and/or shake the bait and target small areas. In my opinion it’s a spot fishing technique not so much for broad areas but a great way to coax bigger bass when you have them pinned down.

Want the stuff to rig one up it’s all below at Tackle Warehouse:
The bass that didn’t make the cut – the B Team from the single best day of fishing ever 49lbs 3oz. According to Phytobedo with all the fish caught we were looking at a near 100lbs day!!! Absolutely crazy!! If you haven’t watched the biggest bag cast to catch on YouTube check it out right here https://youtu.be/K3rVg2BsBOE No doubt this is the best day of fishing I’ll ever have and got to share it with fellow YouTuber Phytobedo. Bait of the day was no doubt a mondo deep diving crankbait however also got to catch a 6 pounder throwing a huge Bull Shad Swimbait as well. The didn’t want soft plastics, theses big Florida largemouths were all about hard fishing lures, fished fast.
Icicles in Florida? Winter fishing is the ideal time to go fishing for bass and target huge fish with crankbaits! I always try to mix in fishing tips and techniques and this is a big one when it comes to crankbaits and fishing plugs – it’s all about wobble, vibration, body shape, and in general – water displacement. I bought a bunch of stuff at Tackle Warehouse to show off what I’m talking about. Not every big, super deep crank is the same, and it’s the subtle differences that mattter. So on the coldest day this winter we’re going to break down the best crankbait fishing secrets I have and then head out to the lake on a freezing winter day when nobody goes fishing but the crazy people (i.e. me) – and yeah we catch a #thunkdonkey!

This bass is insanely huge – fishing for bass with crankbaits, a great winter fishing technique, this fish runs me nearly out of fishing line but I barely land here and call my buddy to show off because she’s that BIG! As far as fishing techniques are concerned using reaction baits during cold water fishing periods is one of the only ways to get them to bite – especially huge bass like this. For some reason when water temps drop into the 60’s it’s tough to catch big fish on most soft plastics. This is a great example of adapting to the conditions and targeting less but bigger bass to come up with a trophy fish in late winter/early spring in Florida!
I finally picked up my new bass boat and I can’t wait to get it fishing! We had the maiden voyage and got to see underwater bass on our trip to pick up the boat in North Central Florida. It’s all getting real! We passed through Silver Springs to pick it up and got some see some epic fish underwater on glass bottomed boats! So the new boat is home and the next step is to get her rigged out to be a fishing machine! Stay tuned! You won’t see her in the vids right away but I’ll keep you updated as the process unfolds and no doubt we’ll be shooting a boat walk thru vid once she’s all ready for the water! Gotta send a big thanks out to you guys for making this happen and a shout out to Shaye Baker and Uploaded Fishing for putting on such a huge contest for us average YouTube anglers who are trying to share our passion and #RealFishing on the web!!
