Took an awesome SUBSCRIBER out fishing for bass and we crushed it. Caught my 2nd biggest PB fish EVER! The crazy part is how I caught her – I seem to have a reputation for catching giant fish on accicdent, you have to see it to believe it!
A little about the SUBSCRIBER: Brent is a family man from the west coast of Florida and Tampa Bay Lightning fan (double thumbs up there!!!!). Wanted to learn some fishing tips and techniques for searching for bass and catching them outside your traditional Florida fishing patterns…..and maybe bet a shot at a PB bass! He got super close to breaking his PB in this vid but you’ll have to tune in for part 2 to see if we shatter his PB with a giant Florida largemouth!

I met you last year at Harney pond we fished the work horse tournament that day. I pound the water and got skunked. Story of my life on the big O. LOL I consider myself to be a pretty descent fisherman but the Big O is my nemesis. I Live in Vero and only get to fish there once and a while. It seems like when I fish that lake everything I know about bass fishing that works everywhere else leaves me empty live well there. Every spot I try there that looks amazing and anywhere else in the world would be a bass motel produces bare hooks. Would like to fish with you one day just to see if I’m looking for all the wrong things on the lake. I’m fishing the fast break tournament this weekend don’t know if you are but if so see you there and introduce myself. Not looking for handouts or secret locations just what the heck I’m doing wrong on that lake. Been watching your videos and enjoy them a lot and you obviously know the Big O like the back of your hand so I would trust your recommendations.

Dude I have the same problem. Okeechobee is one of the most unpredicatable always changing places I’ve ever fished. I struggle out there a ton too – especially the past couple years.
