Hurricane Irma devastated the state of Florida in September of 2017. I captured our life before, during and after the storm – the damage, not having power, flooding and the decisions we made to make it through. There are also some hurricane preparedness tips that really can be used in any type of disaster or severe weather event.

I hope everyone who experienced the storm is finding some level of normal life by now and able to work through the damage they’ve had. We’re lucky overall – this could have been much much worse!

Even threw in there my first fish catch post-Hurricane Irma – a solid 5+lbs largemouth bass fishing in Central Florida!
